listening so far, lots of talk of "GIMMICK" builds, Guild wars more about BUILDS than player skill in GVG (Tombs has always been about Gimmick builds?), famous guild breakups, IQ website hacked...general Guild Wars news and goodness

Pretty good show this week. Fair bit of E-drama, but also some pretty good discussion. Xannix and JR outlined a lot of the issues I've seen with the game recently.

just wanna say i agree with the reasons for you leaving Guild Wars at this time, hopefully A.NET will react to the current trend in GVG and be on top of balancing/fixing instead of waiting quite awhile....

can't wait for gvg this weekend where we'll see those gimmicky builds in action

I may have stepped down from competitive play, but for as long as I am a jobless bum I will probably continue to do so.

Izzy said on air that Arenanet is working on a fix to the fire isle.

It's Arenanet saying it so I'm not totally convinced, but I'm very happy to hear it anyway. <3 Izzy.

Love tonight show

Izzi answered really well i felt...like the decision about why they haven't released an UAX yet because it would make it look like if you had the cash then you'd get an advantage over others...i just like that attitude and is reflective of how ANET has run their game with the no monthly fee etc...they rock

Help!!!

The first time I clicked on the link that JR posted, it said

You have chosen to open "listen1.pls" which is a: M3U file, from:http/listen.radioitg.com
what should firefox do with this file
Open with ......................
Save to disc


I've had issues with M3u codecs before, But I can not listen to this. I even went as far as downloading and installing the stupid Winamp (much against my principles as I hate winamp with a passion) and this weapon of choice program will not play.
Ideas?

Well that's just the Radio ITG stream, so if you try to listen when they're not casting any shows live, you won't get anything. The recordings are posted generally as filefront links or this time as that .mp3 above.
